Man Single-Handedly Kills Lion In Brutal Battle In Uganda�s Iganga District, a brave man is said to have emerged triumphant after a great battle with a lion. It was gathered that he killed the animal on his own after it appeared outside his home in CMS, Iganga. The heroic man suffered major body injuries during the struggle and was transported to the hospital after he successfully killed the Lion. A Mother-of-two has been accused of putting her five-year-old daughter�s hands in hot water for stealing her fish. Tina Idoroyen lives with her daughters at N02, Gregory Street, Ikot Ansa community in Calabar Municipal Local Council of Cross River State. Idoroyen, a food vendor, reportedly prepared 19 pieces of fish for her business and went out but met only one piece of fish when she returned. She discovered that her 5-year-old daughter ate the fish so she punished her by dipping her hands in hot water, Guardian reports. Counsel to Basic Rights Counsel Initiative (BRCI), the Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in charge of the child�s case, Mr. James Ibor, alleged that the mother admitted that the little girl had not eaten before stealing the fish. He said: "The mother alleged that her five-year-old daughter stole her fish, so she dipped her hands in a very hot water, that was how she reacted to the alleged stealing. "Meanwhile, she admitted that when it happened, the child had not eaten, which means she must have been hungry. "The woman has nothing, the father of the child abandoned them two years ago and she still has another eight-year-old daughter. "They can barely feed and she is owing house rent, so if we had not intervened with treatment immediately, that child�s burns would have been badly infected." Mr Ibor said the matter has not been reported to the police because the child needs the support and care of her mother while in the hospital receiving treatment. Ibor, who assured that the perpetrator will soon be handed over to the police for prosecution, explained that the child has been moved from a private hospital to the General Hospital in Calabar, where a specialist is handling her treatment. He said: "A crime has been committed and of course, the police will have to be notified. "She needs to pay for her crime, but we have not taken that decision yet, because it will not be proper to do that now." The men and officers of Anambra State Police Command have arrested two aged men (a driver and a welder) for allegedly defiling four minors in the state. According to a statement issued by the State�s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, the incident happened at Umudim Nnewi, Nnewi North Local Government Area of the state, where the two men, identified as Mr. Peter Ezeala (aged 61) who hails from Mbano in Imo State; and Mr. Elochukwu Igwilo (aged 27), who hails from Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, allegedly defiled and took countless advantage of the four female children, who were being left under their custody by their mother whenever was going to market. He further explained that the four minors are siblings and are aged 11 months, 5 years, 7 years, and 10 years respectively. A young lady was allegedly murdered inside a hotel room in Ozoro and her head cut off. Focus Naija can report that the victim simply identified as Late Miss Adegor Rukevwe was said to be a socialite of the student community before her demise. According to reports gathered from multiple sources, her headless corpse was found in one of the rooms of a popular hotel (name withheld) in town.
